Lake District - December 2007

On the weekend of the 7th *th and 9th of December the BOGIE's held their 5th Annual Christmas Dinner in the Lake District.

This year we stayed in the Wythmoor Camping Barn, which is a great venue with a great view, very cheap, has a kitchen with microwave (but no stove) and even a dining table and some sofa's. It was also supposed to have underfloor heating, and hot showers, however when we got there we found that the heating was broken, and the temperature didn't rise above 5°C all weekend.

Despite that we had a great time, even had some snow, and on the Saturday evening (very damp and cold) we were ferried into Kendal by Castle Taxis, had our dinner in Finkles resturant (very nice) followed by a few drinks in Route 66.
