Freshers Club Trip 1998

These are some photos from the BUMC (Bath University Mountaineering Club) Freshers trip 1998 to North Wales.

On the Saturday John Barker and I led a small group up Tryfan, and on the Sunday we nearly killed ourselves trying the Chasm's Face (3s scramble, not the V-Diff route), but instead doing a gully to the side of it (we got lost) which was in such poor condition we couldn't put in any protection.

Oh, and Meurig was a mate of mine; I just thought the sign was funny.
